Beer Pancakes

Serves: 4 servings
  • 1¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp white sugar
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ¾ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup beer
  1. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  2. Add the egg, beer, and melted butter.
  3. Using a whisk, stir just until blended (a few small lumps are fine).
  4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  5. Coat pan with oil or cooking spray.
  6. Pour about ¼ cup of batter onto hot pan.
  7. When bubbles appear on top, flip and cook until lightly browned on both sides.
