Where we live, we’re around all sorts of water: pools, rivers, creeks and the ocean. I grew up confident in water and I want our boys to be the same way. National Learn to Swim Day is May 16, 2015. This day is designed to remind parents and guardians to kick off summer safely by engaging their children in water safety and swim instructions. Like SwimWays, I believe that swimming is an important life skill and that all children should have the opportunity to learn to swim. This year will be the fourth annual National Learn to Swim Day.
We were excited to be able to review a SwimWays Baby Spring Float. This is the single best baby float on the market today and is fantastic for introducing your child to the water. The Baby Spring Float is easily inflated and very comfortable for babies to use while getting used to being in the water. In addition to the Baby Spring Float, SwimWays created the Swim Steps line of products which helps children become confident swimmers.
SwimWays has been teaching children to swim for over 40 years. Owen’s at the age where he wants to do everything by himself, but I can’t exactly just let him go in the water. With the SwimWays Baby Spring Float, Owen gets to be a bit more independent and build up his confidence.
He really enjoyed being able to float around on his own (with Mommy close by). I drug him around a bit using the float and he really loved that, too!
The float comes with a canopy, but since we were at the YMCA indoors, we didn’t need it. The canopy will get plenty of use this summer though!
SwimWays has been teaching children to swim for over 40 years, making it easy for parents to share their love of water while building their child’s confidence. Did I mention they’re very affordable and you can easily grab one at ToyRUs?
For more information, follow SwimWays on Facebook and Twitter. Be sure to check out the Teach Me to Swim Website.
You can join the #SwimWays Twitter Party on Friday, May 15 from 1-2 PM ET.
