2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

Before 2015 ended, we partnered with DriveShop and Mitsubishi for a week of fun in the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE AWC.

I’ve been driving different cars with DriveShop, but this was my first time ever driving a Mitsubishi. They always seem so fun and the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport did not disappoint!

While my sister was visiting during winter break, we did a girls day out with my mom.  It’s been years since the three of us did something together without husbands or my boys in tow. We did dinner at a new steakhouse (which was delicious), some maternity shopping (did I mention my sister is pregnant?), and wandered around the mall.

And of course, we hit up the after-Christmas clearance at Target! I’m a sucker for cute wrapping paper!

We left my house at about 2 PM and we ended up closing out the mall. We even stopped for ice cream on the way home! So many giggles and just enjoying each other’s company.

Notice my pregnant sister is sitting in the back seat? I’m not a big fan of riding in the back seat because it usually makes me nauseous, but when I saw the giant panoramic sun roof (which takes up almost the entire roof), I immediately thought how much that probably reduces that nauseous back seat feeling. And, how cool would it be to park and put the front seats back to watch fireworks or the stars?

Now, as far as my mom ranking on the 2015 Mitsubishi Sport goes, I would have to pass on it as my main vehicle because both boys are still in large convertible seats. With both seats installed, there is only room for the four of us. There is no way a third person would fit between their seats.

So, even though I think it’s a little too snug for my everyday needs with the boys at this point in our life, I think it would make a great choice for Daddy or grandma! It’s fun and the kids fit if you need them to.

Even though gas prices are going down, no one can afford a gas guzzler! I was very impressed with the fuel economy that the Outlander Sport offered (24 city and 30 highway). As you can see, it rained most of our week with the vehicle (including our 70° and rainy Christmas). The 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport has Active Stability Control and Traction Control Logic to help keep you safe!

If you’re looking for a small SUV, the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport SE is a great option to consider. It has great safety ratings and they’re very affordable (starting at just under $20,000).
