Everyone has been sharing all of their back-to-school pictures this week. In Maryland, our public schools go back after Labor Day this year (and hopefully every year now). That means we still have another week of summer and prep.

Once school starts back, our family time definitely takes a hit. Last year, we started doing movie nights on Fridays. Sometimes we would pick a new movie release and sometimes we’d catch an old favorite. For us, movie night means snuggled together on the couch or sprawled out on the floor with blankets, pillows, and plenty of snacks!

I know one of the first movies we’ll be watching this year is Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. I picked up the books over the summer for some fun reading for the kids. It’s not just the boys that are excited about this one, but the humor in the movie is for everyone!

And don’t worry, this is a film with a lot of heart. Specifically, the film explores the great friendship between Harold and George and their connection through a love of writing and creativity. The Captain Underpants DVD will be available in Walmart stores 9/12! Be sure to reserve your copy now by pre-ordering today! While supplies last.

Remember those yummy snacks I mentioned? All movie nights need popcorn and we always have Pop Secret – made with better ingredients and inventive flavors – stocked and ready. There’s just something fun about popcorn, right? Not only is it fun, but Pop Secret is a delicious, high-quality snack that I feel good about sharing with my family.

Paired with some Lance Cracker sandwiches, and you’re all set! Lance has been making little sandwiches for over 100 years with two awesome crackers on the outside with incredible spreads between! At Lance, sandwiches mean more for your family – flavorful, wholesome, filling and portable. I grabbed a pack of Lance Nekot Peanut Butter at Walmart to enjoy with our Muddy Buddy Popcorn. The real peanut butter between the cookies is perfect with the chocolate and peanut butter coated popcorn.
