I’m starting a new series on the blog for 2016 called Friday Favorites. I’ll be sharing a weekly update that includes our favorite things at the moment, what we did during the week, and other things along those lines.

We’ve been sick most of Winter Break and now school starts back on Monday. Have you seen the meme going around about my house looks like I’m losing a game of Jumanji? That’s pretty much my life right now. There are new Christmas presents all over the house, Christmas decorations still up, laundry piling up, and I just don’t want to deal with any of it.

Family Time

My sister was here this week and I love being able to visit with her. She lives about 11 hours away, so we only see each other a couple of times a year. And… she’s pregnant! It’s a shame the next time I see her will probably be after the baby’s here though!

That Comfy Sweater

That blue shawl cardigan sweater I have on in the picture up there? I have it in two colors and I’m in love. It reminds me of an old lady sweater, but it’s everything a sweater is supposed to be. It’s warm and snuggly and you can wrap yourself up in it.

Benny’s Spaceship

The number one thing on Charlie’s Christmas list the past two years has been the LEGO building set: Benny’s Spaceship, Spaceship, Spaceship! Well, this year I found an amazing deal on it and he got it! It took about almost the whole week to finish, but it is completed! I need to grab a picture of him with it all put together!

Mitsubishi Outlander Sport

Happy New Year!

Thanks to Netflix, we celebrated New Year’s around 8:30 pm! Netflix sent us some hats, balloons, and party blowers to add some extra fun for the kids. We were all in bed and asleep by 10 pm and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
