The Shirley Journey

Finding Joy in the Journey

Two Weeks in Ireland with Kids

Is Buying Online Really Saving You Money?

When it comes to shopping online, many people wonder if they are really saving money. The answer to this question is YES. You are saving money. You just need to know how you’re saving money to keep justifying those purchases.

Saving on gas

It’s true when you’re buying online, you are saving money on gas. You aren’t going store to store looking for the best deal. Instead, you are looking right online for the best deal. You’d be surprised as to how expensive it can be to use your car/gas tank to shop.

Price checking

It can be hard to physically go from store to store to check for the cheapest price. However, price checking is easy when you’re online. With a quick search, you can easily do a price check, without a problem. Thanks, Internet.

Take advantage of online-only deals

I have spent a lot of time shopping over the years and online deals are almost always better than in-store deals. I always look at my favorite stores online, even before I head in. Usually, you can get free shipping or even a percentage off for shopping online.

No fluff

I think one of the best reasons people can save money shopping online is that they aren’t tempted by all the stuff in front of them. I like to call all that stuff “fluff.” When you go to those warehouse stores, you’re tricked into thinking you need something. Truly, when you are only shopping online for what you need, you save more money.

Different ways to save money

You can save money online in a different way than in person. There are so many websites to help you save money. There are rebate websites, to help you get money back on what you have already bought.

There are subscription websites, wholesale websites, and I think you get the idea. You can save money on everything you buy online. All your needs are met and you can do all this under budget.

Saving money online is a way of life for many people. They can stretch their dollar even further. You can even grocery shop online now, how awesome is that?

Save $10 on your Walmart Grocery order! They deliver, too!

The next time you wonder if buying online is really saving you money, you can tell yourself YES!

One last tip. The key to saving money online is to not be impromptu with your buying. Think things out and stay on budget!
