Do you have a LEGO fan in your house? If you're following us, you know how much Charlie loves all things LEGO!
Worried about keeping those LEGO bricks clean? Check out our post on how to clean and sanitize LEGO bricks.
Two new LEGO shows just premiered on Netflix: LEGO Friends: The Power of Friendship and LEGO Bionicle: The Journey to One.
To build excitement for their new LEGO shows (not that we needed any), Netflix sent us a couple of LEGO sets! We received the LEGO Friends Birthday Party and LEGO Bionicle Gali Uniter of Water sets.
Be sure to check out the new shows below! Charlie has already watched all of the episodes available for each!

Of course, Charlie loved putting together his new sets! The first one we did was the LEGO Bionicle set. It was a little tricky for him to do all on his own, but I love that it's something we can do together.
And there's no feeling quite as awesome than a completed LEGO creation! Charlie is always so proud when he finishes his set. He has actually left this one together, too!
While we love putting together sets, they usually get put together once and then added to the giant LEGO collection in his room. Charlie loves just creating his own things.
I love getting the LEGO Classic Creative boxes. They offer a wide variety of bricks in different shapes and colors. There are no specific instructions for the box, but it does include an idea book.
To help give him a bit of a challenge, we put together a 30 Days of LEGO Play calendar.
How to Use this LEGO Calendar
Grab a box of mixed pieces and get started on the 30 Days of LEGO Play! Kids, no matter the age, will love this challenge!
If your kiddo (like mine) is too little to read the calendar, you'll just have to read it for them. And trust me, they'll remind you!
You could snap a picture of each day's creation and put it in a little book for them! How fun is that?!?
If you have older kids that are working on writing, these would make great writing prompts! They can build and be creative with their build, but then they can also write a short story to go with their build.
Print your 30 Days of LEGO Play Calendar
You can print it out by clicking the calendar above.
