Maternity clothes can definitely feel expensive, especially since you wear them for such a short time. When I was pregnant with our first, I hated the idea of spending money on maternity clothes. The truth though is that maternity clothes just feel amazing. It’s so important to be comfortable and have some things that really fit.

I think every pregnant mom should have some maternity basics in the closet. And those clothes do not need to be expensive. Keep an eye out for clearance sales (these are really great after each season – I remember paying like $5 for a pair of shorts that I wore several times a week) and other sales at big retailers.
