Goodness is defined as kindness, generosity, or beneficial.

There are so many simple ways we can show our goodness. Of course, kids can certainly do this too!

Not all acts of kindness or generosity need to be some huge ordeal. Here are 20 simple ways kids can show their goodness. I’m sure they are already doing so many of these things. As a parent, take the time to thank them or acknowledge their good deeds.

1. help a sibling with homework
2. clear the table after dinner
3. share a toy
4. let someone get in front of them in line
5. call a loved one just to say hi
6. high-five a friend
7. read a book to someone
8. hold the door open for someone
9. smile at everyone
10. clean up without being asked
11. ask someone new to play
12. feed birds
13. help make dinner
14. put groceries away
15. choose a toy to donate
16. draw a picture for someone
17. write a thank you note for a teacher
18. teach someone something new
19. pick up litter
20. let someone else pick the TV show

Juicy Juice is all about finding the goodness in juice and to celebrate the new year, Juicy Juice launched “The Goodness in Kids Contest” on January 6th to find kids across the country who find simple ways to be kind to one another. Whether it’s participating in a local food drive, sending a handwritten card to a loved one or sharing a toy at school, one good deed can make a world of difference.

Parents can nominate their kids, age 2-10, with a photo and short caption describing their good deed. In mid-February, finalists will be voted on by the public.

The top 5 entries from each of the two age group categories with the most votes will win the Grand Prize of $1,500 to help continue their acts of goodness.

Enter the Juicy Juicy Show Your Goodness Contest by January 31, 2020!
