Hands-On Bug Activities for Kids

With the weather getting nicer, all those bugs that have been hidden from the snow and cold, are making their comeback! Kids can be drawn to those creepy crawlies, doesn’t matter if it’s a ladybug or a bee. Insects are very fascinating creatures and some of them are actually really pretty looking. Have your children explore their curiosity in the critters by getting them involved in some of these hands-on bug activities!

Bug Activities for Kids

There’s everything from math graphing and coloring to fun craft projects and sensory bins – so there’s something every kid will have fun doing! By combining the fun projects with educational lessons, they’ll have a blast playing with bugs and be learning the entire time. Roll your sleeves up and let’s get down to fun!
