We took a trip to Ireland last year, but it was just us. We knew immediately the kids would love it, so this time we brought the kids to Ireland! Day 1 We left the house Monday, August 14th about noon and arrived at Newark International Airport at about 2:30, breezed through security, and sat […]

Have you heard of ALEX BRANDS? ALEX BRANDS is a family of brands that includes some of the most iconic names in the toy industry. Their brands include: including ALEX TOYS®, POOF®, SLINKY®, SCIENTIFIC EXPLORER®, IDEAL®, ZOOB® and BACKYARD SAFARI™, ZILLIONZ™ and CITIBLOCS™. From classic, timeless toys and games to open-ended activities that emphasize children’s developmental needs. ALEX BRANDS™ lends itself to a lifestyle of creative and active play.
We received the ALEX TOYS Tots Art Gallery by ALEX BRANDS. This says that it is for ages 18+ months. It will be perfect for Charlie. Honestly, I can’t see an 18 month old doing these types of art projects and storing them neatly, but maybe some will.
Your child will be able to save all of their art work inside the portfolio. Included are 12 simple projects for your toddler to create beautiful works of art! Stick, scribble and collage while learning shapes and colors! The Tots Art Gallery includes: 3 collage-by-shape peel and stick boards, 2 preprinted paper frames and 6 tots crayons for scribbling, 2 shredded tissue peel and stick activities, 3 sticker pictures, 2 peel and stick collage boards with lots of doilies, tissue, crepe, corrugated and colored papers, stickers, google eyes, buttons and easy parent guide.
Kids always need something that is just plain ole fun! The ALEX TOYS Catch N Stick Monster Mitts by ALEX BRANDS is just that! Aimed at ages 3+, Charlie will love this after playing his first year of baseball.
Who doesn’t like throwing a ball back and forth to catch it? Add in some giant monster paws and you’re guaranteed approval from the kids! A wonderful way to teach catch with little ones. Catch ‘n Stick Monster comes with 2 oversized foam monster mitts and a colorful tennis ball. Adjust the Velcro strap on the back of the mitt to fit big or small hands. Then catch the ball easily with the Velcro surface on the front of the mitt. Throw little distances for younger kids, and as they grow, watch how far they can throw and catch!
We love creative toys that make kids really think. I believe open-ended play is important and I think the ZOOB Jr. 55-Piece Set by ALEX BRANDS will be a great addition to our house!
A great big set that is perfect for preschools and playrooms. Foam play pad provides a base for building. I know 55 pieces of anything sounds scary, but this set includes a zippered case to put them all away! There are construction cards included to help get you started on your creations. There are some pretty awesome things they show you how to make! You can use this building set with other ZOOB JR sets. ZOOB JR. are larger softer pieces designed for younger children ages 4-6. ZOOB JR. pieces are made with a special memory material that flexes, for easy connections, and returns to its original shape, so they bend, move, and snap together snugly.
