In January’s Citrus Lane review, I mentioned Barefoot Books. I’m actually a Barefoot Books Ambassador!

How did I hear about Barefoot Books?

In December of 2012, Charlie received a Barefoot Book in his Citrus Lane box. The book, The Animal Boogie, was an instant hit in our house!  I looked Barefoot Books up online and found out that I could sell them!

Why do I love Barefoot Books?

I love Barefoot Books because they are real works of art. The books address real life situations as well as imaginary or fantasy worlds. By opening a book, you can travel to far away lands and have a picture painted in your mind. Barefoot Books are not full of commercialized characters that our children cannot watch on tv daily.

Barefoot Books allows me to make a little money (or a lot if you put a lot into it) while supporting something amazing for our children. My son LOVES books, which makes momma super happy! With Barefoot Books, I can attend craft and community events to set up a booth, I can throw home parties or online parties, or I can do fundraisers!

If you’d like to throw an online party, you’ll earn a percentage of sales from your party! Contact me and we’ll set something up!

If you’d like to join as an Ambassador:

I was forced to read chapter books in third grade, and I hated it, because I missed the artwork – it wasn’t a short cut, I wanted to see ART! I’ll make sure to look into these for my son.

With so many options to sell things, I love that you chose something so fun and educational. I haven’t heard of Barefoot Books, which I’m shocked about since we are always buying new books for the kiddos.

That is a great opportunity! I’m so jealous, I wish I could do it myself. But books aren’t very popular here, not even in Spanish.

There is something so wonderful about seeing a child read a book for herself. It is an event I Treasured and programs like this one make it possible.
