Binge More with Netflix on Xfinity X1

I’ve been a binge watcher for as long as I have had Netflix. Of course, in the beginning, that meant getting disc after disc of my favorite series in the mail. Over the past several years, binge watching has become a breeze with instant streaming.

If you’re a Comcast Xfinity X1 subscriber, you can now binge even more! You no longer have to switch between devices/remotes/platforms because you can browse through Netflix content alongside your favorite On Demand DVR and web programming, all under the X1 platform!

What’s that mean?

Well, it means that if you find a great show you love, you’ll be able to binge through all of the past seasons on Netflix and then continue watching the current season seamlessly with X1! Seriously, how awesome is that?!?

By combining the TV libraries of Netflix and Xfinity On Demand, X1 users can now launch the Netflix app just by saying “Netflix”into the X1 voice remote. I love that the kids can do this and they don’t have to worry about switching anything on the TV.

And to make things even easier, the kids can say something like “Curious George” or “LEGO” and it will bring up everything that they can find on both Xfinity and Netflix!

Some of our favorite long-running shows to binge watch that are perfect for this new partnership are Scandal, The Walking Dead, The Blacklist, Grey’s Anatomy, and Law & Order: SVU.

Current X1 and Netflix customers will be prompted to sign in when accessing the Netflix service on X1 for the first time. New Netflix customers will be able to sign up for a new Netflix membership directly on X1, have the service added to their Comcast bill and begin to immediately explore and enjoy the service on X1 or across devices.
