I’m very proud to be a Bravado Designs Mama for 2014! Throughout the year I’ll be sent samples of new products and new colors.

bravado designs

If you’ve ever attempted breastfeeding, you know the ups and downs that you’ll encounter. Breastfeeding can seriously wear you down. Most days I feel completely gross, sitting at home in my chair all day basically just switching Owen from one side to the other. I read a post last week from another mom that said she wasn’t sure why people needed to wear nursing bras and I was completely blown away by it. She said you should be able to easily do it wearing your normal bra. Clearly, she never nursed a baby full-time. I’m sure that most breastfeeding moms feel very similar to the way I feel. We need to feel like a woman again, not a milk machine. Bravado! Designs allows me feel like a woman, but allows me to be nurse my baby whenever, wherever I need to.

Their bras are pricey, but totally worth it! For nursing bras, I’m a firm believer in “you get what you pay for”.

essential_Embrace_Cara_Chai_250x340

The Essential Embrace is my favorite nursing bra that I have as of now, but I’m sure throughout this year that I’ll fall in love with a few new ones. This bra does not have underwire, but you’d swear it does because of the support it has. Nursing mamas know how important skin to skin is for babies. The Essential Embrace has a full drop away cup which allows for maximum skin to skin contact. The fabric is patent pending Bravado Dynatex™ fabric, which combines premium cotton and luxurious microfiber. It’s like all of my pre-pregnancy bras and it makes me feel amazing!

A bra with the right fit (and holds the ladies up where they’re supposed to) really can make your entire day.

You can like Bravado Designs on Facebook, follow them on Twitter, or visit their website.

Another reason why I love Bravado Designs is their supportive community. You can find great information for any stage of pregnancy or nursing on their website.

I look forward to sharing some new products with you as we continue our breastfeeding journey!

I am a full time breastfeeding mom, I know how you feel about sitting around just switching sides! I have to admit i do wear a normal bra when i wear one at all. i dont like to be go out with just a nursing bra haha. But it definitely wears on the normal bras. if i paid a lot for them i probably would NOT breastfeed in it! Hope you get lots of useful stuff!

These are totally go out on the town bras too. They really feel like normal bras, except you have easy access to the goods 🙂

I wish I would’ve known about this line of bras when I was nursing my two boys. I always used a nursing bra; it just made life so much easier!

I didn’t use a nursing bra when I breastfeed my kidlets. I think I just used a soft bra so the twins were easily accessible. Sounds like a great bra.

I didn’t breastfeed my daughter when she was born so I guess this counts me out of this! I do have MANY friends that have and still do breastfeed their babies and would appreciate a great quality nursing bra like this!

When I nursed my son I didn’t wear a nursing bra, just used a regular one. I wish I had known about these! The support was my issue as far as “needing” that underwire. The next time I nurse I’ll have to check this bra out!

Interesting Bra. I’ve never had a need for a breastfeeding bra, or well…breastfeeding anything, but I have a few Mommy friends who might find this useful.

OMG I struggle with this constantly. I can never find the right size/best fitting bra. I even went to the Double Divas. I cannot breathe and I feel that my lungs are constricted in the five bras I bought there.
