From the time I heard that one of my favorite childhood shows was coming back to life on Netflix, I was pretty excited. Then, when I saw one of the first teasers for Fuller House… I got chills. There’s just something about reliving our childhood that does that.
In Fuller House, the adventures that began in 1987 on Full House continue, with veterinarian D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron-Bure) recently widowed and living in San Francisco. D.J.’s younger sister/aspiring musician Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin) and D.J.’s lifelong best friend/fellow single mother Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), along with Kimmy’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona, all move in to help take care of D.J.’s three boys — the rebellious 12-year-old Jackson, neurotic 7-year-old Max and her newborn baby, Tommy Jr.
While you still have almost a week until the Fuller House premiere on Feb 26, I was given early access to the first six episodes. And… in true Netflix style, I binged all six immediately. I mean, who wouldn’t?!?
I grabbed the laptop and snuggled in on the couch for some mommy time!

I will tell you that the first episode feels long. In my opinion, it was a little corny, but I still liked it. They made sure to fit in all of the original character’s famous lines and do their signature things. It was a little over the top, but when you bring something back that has been dead for over twenty years, you have to do it! It was definitely nostalgic. So, if you seem turned off by the first episode, please keep watching!
The second episode is where we really turn back to the family show that we grew up loving. Your kids won’t get the first episode because that’s for those of us that grew up with Full House. We start to learn about the new characters and what our girls have been up the past twenty years.
Those first six episodes flew by and now I’m waiting just like you are! All 13 episodes of the first season of Fuller House will be released on February 26! I can’t wait to watch the rest of the first season.
And don’t worry, Mom! We see Steve and there’s still hope!

I so can’t wait for this! I grew up watching this show and still watch the re-runs to this day! My kids even watch the re-runs with me.. If you don’t have Netflix in your country, watch it with PureVPN.
