This is a sponsored conversation with Oui by Yoplait. As always, all opinions are my own.

As women, especially moms, we spend very little time on ourselves. These tips will help you love yourself a little more every day.

It’s easy to remind others to love themselves, but when the tables are turned, you find yourself nitpicking every little “flaw” you, and only you, see in the mirror every day. It’s almost as if you think everyone else is beautiful, except for you. Well it’s time to start faking it ‘til you make it, even if it feels forced in the beginning. You have to remember that beauty isn’t a cookie cutter idea. It’s a rainbow of possibilities, shapes, sizes, and colors and best of all, it’s your personal definition of beauty that matters the most. Here are some suggestions that can lead you on the path of self-acceptance and self-love.

Smile At Everyone

Smiling creates a ripple effect of positive energy, which won't just lift your spirits up, but will infect others with your good cheer, and make you more inviting to start a conversation with. What’s the worse than can happen? They might smile back.

Do What Makes You Happy

If you feel like treating yourself to a tub of ice cream, then go for it! If you want to take a trip to the middle of nowhere, then grab those keys or book that flight, and stop letting fear keep you from doing what you really want. Taking salsa lessons might not lead anywhere, but not everything we do in life is done with a purpose. Being happy while doing so should be enough reward.

Satiate Your Hunger

So, you're on a diet, but you're really craving a greasy pepperoni pizza or a huge burger? If your mind and body are begging you to get these things, then treat yourself every once in a while. But make sure you’re still being respectful to your body.

Need a decadent treat that's just for you? I'm loving the all-new French style yogurt, Oui by Yoplait. With its unique, thick and creamy texture and subtly sweet fresh taste, Oui brings a new offering and experience to the yogurt aisle — and a moment of pure enjoyment in every spoonful!

My favorite varieties are Strawberry and Black Cherry, but you can also find Blueberry, Coconut, Lemon, Peach, Plain, and Vanilla. Did I mention there are no artificial flavors and no color from artificial sources? I love the simple ingredients! It feels super fancy to eat this thick and creamy yogurt from the cute little glass jar, but lucky for us – the price is not super fancy! I picked up single-serve jars at Walmart, but the Strawberry and Vanilla are also available in a multi-pack.

Be Kind To Others

The key to feeling good about yourself is in helping make someone else's life easier. Help an old lady cross the street, volunteer at a homeless shelter, or act as math teacher to your next door neighbor’s kids for free. When you do good things, you feel good about yourself.

Let The Past Go

We all have a past, and that’s not always good. But why wallow in self-pity over something you can't change right now? Sometimes, the past is better left behind, so start by forgiving yourself, and then learning how to turn that error in judgment into a life lesson.

Don't Worry About It

Bad things aren't just coming. They're here, and it's like this for every person on the planet. But stop obsessing about what can go wrong and just focus on living. Otherwise, you'll be mentally burnt when you face the tiniest obstacle.

Embrace Some Alone Time

Learn how to spend some valuable time on your own. Some people will turn into social butterflies who only function when there’s a crowd around them, but being alone scares them to the core. Knowing how to do both is a great balance, so book that solo trip to the nearest lake, or stay home to read that book. It’s good to have some “me” time.

Treat Yourself From Time To Time

Go get yourself a facial, a mani-pedi, or go to a spa and enjoy a nice massage from a professional masseuse. Then relax in a whirlpool and leave all your troubles behind, before they consume you. We work ourselves to the bone for a reason, right? To indulge in some much-needed pampering!

Write Something Good About Yourself

Leave no stone unturned and acknowledge a good deed or a skill you've mastered. So, grab a pen and paper, or use a keyboard and write about why you're truly amazing. Don’t be shy! Be honest. This isn’t the time for being humble. Now read it and accept that it's true. If your hair looks awesome, say so! If you packed lunches for the kids the night before, pat yourself on the back and write it down!

Be Body Positive

It's easy to become body negative, especially when we compare ourselves to other women who seem to have been touched the gene touch. But nothing good can come from comparing yourself to others. You’re unique and so are they, and there’s room for all types of bodies, shapes and styles. Living in a world where everyone’s different is a lot more fun than if we were surrounded by doppelgangers, right?
