Hungry for Happiness mobile tour in Baltimore 8/20

School is starting back soon, but the Hungry for Happiness mobile tour is still going!

The tour was just in Philadelphia last week and now it’s coming to Baltimore! Since I’m located right between the two, they’re both local for us! That also means another giveaway for you!

In Maryland, almost half-a-million individuals have reported food insecurity, or the inability to consistently access food. That means nearly 1 in 8 people experience hunger, and for children, that figure increases to 1 in 6. The Arby’s Foundation, the charitable arm of Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc., in partnership with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry^® campaign, is committed to helping kids get the food they need.

This summer, families can find free Summer Meals for kids in their community by texting FOOD to 877-877.

On Wednesday, August 20th from 5pm to 8pm the Hungry for Happiness mobile tour is stopping at the Gambrills Arby’s to raise money for the Maryland Food Bank. Twenty percent of sales during the party will go directly to the Maryland Food Bank. During the event, kids can take part in fun summer activities such as hula-hoop contests, tug of war, bean bag toss, basketball and other family-friendly games to get kids moving.
