How Moms are Sneaking Me-Time with Netflix

Remember those days before husbands, kids, careers, and general #adulting? It seems like a lifetime ago, but those are all good things, so we deal.

Back in the day, I remember bingeing at home plopped on the couch without a care in the world. Now… there’s a new way to get my Netflix time in and they’re calling it #MomSneak!

The folks at Netflix have found that sneaking is the new bingeing for moms! We’re all “guilty” of it and it’s definitely a good thing. The amount of me-time we get has dwindled for sure.

Just this week I finally put together my office and made it so I can actually work in here again and it’s amazing! One of the first things I did was order myself a new Roku stick so I can stream my favorites while working!

In today’s world though, we’re able to get that #MomSneak in whenever and wherever we want! At the gym, maybe walk a little longer and enjoy one more episode. Grocery shopping? Maybe hang out in the parking lot long enough to finish that last episode. Stuck at soccer practice? You can catch up on your phone now!

Seriously, anywhere you go now… Netflix is there!

America has spoken: 97% of moms say that they had more time for themselves before motherhood, and now, three-quarters (71%) of moms admit to sneaking in TV “me-time” while juggling a busy schedule, with some even hiding from their kids for just a moment of peace. With moms doing it anywhere and everywhere in the neighborhood when the kids aren’t around, sneaking is the new bingeing.

We all need that time alone to sneak in our favorites!
