My Favorite Holiday

I’ve been slacking on the 30 Things My Kids Should Know About Me posts. I think I’m going to bounce around now and try to stick with it to finish it. I’m hoping by jumping around, I’ll be more apt to find something I want to answer each week. Favorite Holiday

My favorite holiday is Christmas. Hands down, it’s Christmas. I love decorating the the house and tree, picking out gifts that everyone will love, eating all the yummy food, visiting with friends and family, and most of all- celebrating Jesus’s birthday.

The part I don’t like about Christmas? Everyone stressing over making sure everything is perfect. No one cares if your house is spotless when family comes to visit or if the food isn’t overflowing (there’s always too much anyway) or if everyone has enough gifts.

And you’ll learn soon enough that I have a slight obsession with Christmas ornaments. Hallmark Ornament Premiere

This totally made my heart go pitter-patter when I saw it in the mail this week!

What’s your favorite holiday?

I think probably Christmas is my favorite holiday too. That is the time when family and friends all get together.

I gotta agree, Christmas is my favorite holiday too. It’s one of the last holidays of the year that I look forward to with my family. 🙂

I’m with you! Christmas has always been my favorite, more so now that we have kids. Seeing it through their eyes is just magical!

Well, my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, but I like Christmas, too 🙂 I especially enjoy all the baking and wrapping. And I try hard not to be one of the ones who likes everything “perfect” LOL but that’s hard for us type-A people 🙂

Halloween is my favorite, but Christmas really is a very close second. I also have a love of Christmas ornaments and spend way too much money on them each year lol.

Oh I love Christmas. I was just thinking that I need to swing by a Hallmark store to see what’s coming out this season (and maybe preorder an ornament since I always miss out on the great ones!)

I don’t have a favorite holiday – I love them all for different reasons. If I had to pick one it would probably be Thanksgiving.

I don’t particularly celebrate holidays but if you call it one we enjoy celebrating marriage and anniversaries, nothing like getting together to acknowledge a couples milestones in marriage!
