We took a trip to Ireland last year, but it was just us. We knew immediately the kids would love it, so this time we brought the kids to Ireland! Day 1 We left the house Monday, August 14th about noon and arrived at Newark International Airport at about 2:30, breezed through security, and sat […]
Prepared to Laugh this Holiday Season

I think my cousin snapped this one while Mom and I were laughing about her smooshing my boobs.
The holidays is all about spending time and catching up with family. Some of my family lives 10 minutes down the road and some live over 10 hours away. Because of nothing in particular, just life and all of the everyday stuff, we don’t see family as much as I wish we did. It’s one of those things I keep saying I want to do more, but haven’t yet.
Over Thanksgiving, we often head south to Kentucky to visit my sister’s family and my grandparents. When you get all of us together, it can be a little crazy.
I don’t see my father’s side of the family enough, but we always catch up around Christmas. We gather together at my aunt and uncle’s house mid-afternoon and stay late into the night. Whether we’re playing games, watching a football game, or reminiscing, you’ll always find us laughing.

Here’s a little throwback to Christmas of 2009 with Tom and I sitting around my Aunt and Uncle’s table.
Laughing after having kids is completely different. I know you’re all nodding and smiling in agreement. We all know what happens when we laugh too much now. The thing is though, I don’t want to worry about laughing too much. I want to be able to have fun and completely laugh like crazy without peeing my pants. There, I said it. We pee when we laugh. It pretty much sucks, right?
Now, my sister has always tinkled when someone tickles her or she laughs too much, but now that she has had a baby I’m sure that’s only made her situation worse.
My family is goofy, crazy, and wild… and I don’t want to miss any of it!

My uncle and I on my wedding day.
This year, I’m prepared to laugh thanks to Impressa. Impressa helps stop leaks before they happen. That means more time sitting around visiting and less time running to the bathroom praying it’s vacant! And I’m bringing the Impressa® Sizing Kit (available in Walmart stores) to make sure none of the women in my family have to worry about holding back the laughter!
Feel confident this holiday season, doing whatever you do!
