We took a trip to Ireland last year, but it was just us. We knew immediately the kids would love it, so this time we brought the kids to Ireland! Day 1 We left the house Monday, August 14th about noon and arrived at Newark International Airport at about 2:30, breezed through security, and sat […]

Wow! Summer is officially here and that means Charlie is home with us all day, every day. Even though he was only out of the house for about 4 hours a day, it was a busy 4 hours. Now that he’s home, that means lunch can get shaken up a little from the normal lunchbox menu and it’s my job to sneak some education into our fun.
I created a fun little memory match game with an ocean theme. And we’re not just matching pictures, I made sure to include words on the cards so Charlie can work on recognizing and sounding out new words.
You can print it out for your kiddos just by clicking the image below.
We were able to find some great products at Target featuring our favorite ocean friends! I picked up Goldfish® Special Edition! Cheddar Disney Pixar’s Finding Dory Crackers and Campbell’s Soup featuring Disney/Pixar’s Finding Dory.

How perfect is that for an ocean-themed lunch? Charlie and I sat down while Owen was napping for a yummy lunch and a fun game of Ocean Memory Match.
There’s just something extra fun about Goldfish crackers! They’re pretty much a standard for our house.

We picked up a Dory labeled Campbell’s Soup, but be sure to look for the other labels (Nemo and Hank) while you’re shopping at Target. And use these Target Cartwheel coupons to save yourself some money:
- 20% off Goldfish crackers featuring Disney-Pixar Finding Dory
- 10% off Campbell’s Dory Healthy Kid’s soup
Charlie has never been a big soup fan, but the tides must have changed because he loved this chicken with fun-shaped pasta (sea shell, Dory, and Destiny) in chicken broth. I’m pretty sure it was the cool shapes that did it! And, there’s no MSG added, which makes Mommy even happier!
What a fun way to spend our lunch time together! Charlie loved finding the ocean animals, snacking on his Goldfish crackers, and enjoying big spoonfuls of ocean friends in his soup!
Hope your kiddos enjoy our Ocean Memory Match!

That definitely looks like a fun and yummy lunch. Good to know the Dory soup is part of their healthy line. You did a great job making lunch fun and a way to learn.
