We received product from Gorton’s Seafood in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own.
It’s finally that time of year when playing outside all day is reality. On top of just running around like crazy all day outside, we now have baseball going on. I just looked at the calendar today and there are many weeks in the next month that we’ll be at the field 4 nights in the same week!
During this crazy time of year, or any time really, we’re looking for quick and easy meals that I don’t feel guilty serving. Gorton’s Seafood understands the struggle that it is to sometimes get a meal on the table for kids. Their new Smart & Crunchy Fish Sticks and Fillets are perfect for the kids (or anyone). We threw together a quick lunch for us after Preschool today and made these Fish Stick Roll-Ups.
The great thing about the new Smart & Crunchy products is that they have 50% less fat than Gorton’s regular fish sticks, and are only 180 calories per serving! They contain no MSG or artificial flavors and are made with 100% wild-caught Alaskan Pollock. What’s not to love about that?
Like most kids, our boys love anything bite-size that they can pick up.
- 8 fish sticks
- 1 package of 8 refrigerated crescents
- ½ cup shredded cheddar
- mustard for dipping (optional)
- Heat oven to 375°F
- Separate dough into 8 triangles.
- Place 1 frozen fish stick on fattest part of each triangle.
- Sprinkle a little cheese on each.
- Roll up starting at fish stick side of triangle and rolling the point.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.

The boys tore these up and that’s something to cheer about! As you know, Charlie loves helping Mommy in the kitchen. The pack that Gorton’s sent us included matching aprons for Mommy and Charlie.
Did I tell you there’s a giveaway yet? You can enter to win a prize pack from Gorton’s including 2 free product coupons, an apron for Mom or Dad, a child’s apron and a Smart Crunchman Plush Stuffy!
Right now, you can grab a coupon for $1 off any Smart & Crunchy product from Gorton’s!
