Turkey Day is already here! While Christmas is probably my favorite holiday, Thanksgiving is right there with it. I love that after a crazy fall, the kids get a few extra days off from school and we can spend that time with family. For the past several years, we’ve packed up for Thanksgiving and hit the road for Kentucky. It’s about an 11-hour drive from our home in Maryland to my grandparents’ house in Kentucky.

If you’re looking to switch some things up this Thanksgiving, we have some great ideas for your Turkey Day!

Butter Parmesan Sauce from RAGÚ®

Do you do Mac and Cheese as one of your Thanksgiving side dishes? We’ve never served it with our Thanksgiving dinner, but I would definitely not turn down Mac and Cheese! Even the pickiest eaters will have something to be thankful for this year.

Thanks to the New RAGÚ® Butter Parmesan Sauce, made with aged parmesan and real butter, you can have a delicious side dish that everyone will love. Try it for your Thanksgiving meal with this perfect and quick Real Deal 3-Minutes Mac!

Snacks from Peeled Snacks

I don’t know about you, but we definitely watch all the football games on Thanksgiving Day. Peeled Snacks has some awesome plant-based organic snacks that are perfect for switching up your game day snacking.

We tried the Chimichurri Baked Pea Crisps. The organic pea base adds plant-based protein to every bite and the whole family is really going to love the bright fresh flavor of Chimichurri.

Use code 20SUPPORTAIP on Amazon for 20% off the NEW Farmer’s Blend, valid Nov 1 –30.
20LOVEPEELED gives users a 20% off on mango and chimichurri through Amazon.

Squeezable Organic Virgin Coconut Oil & Squeezable Organic Steam Refined Coconut Oil from Nutiva

Do you use coconut oil when you cook or bake? I don’t use it too often because it’s kind of a pain to get it out of the jar. Nutiva’s innovative pouch packaging definitely fixes usability issues. The pouch makes cooking and baking with coconut oil easy and totally mess-free.

You can use the squeezable coconut oil to saute your veggies in a pan, in your baking, or anywhere else you would normally use butter or oil.

For a light coconut flavor, try the Nutiva Squeezable Organic Virgin Coconut Oil. You can also try Nutiva Squeezable Organic Steam Refined Coconut Oil, which is even more versatile as it has no coconut flavor.

Use code NUTIVA25! for 25% off Refined/Virgin Coconut Oil Pouches
Offer valid 10/25/19-1/1/20; cannot be combined with other offers, limit one use per customer

The Joys of Baking Cookbook from Running Press

If you’re traveling for Thanksgiving, go ahead and bring the hostess The Joys of Baking Cookbook, especially if they love baking. The author shares sweet personal stories and you’ll see how there’s a recipe for every little moment – whether you’re happy or just need a little extra comfort during a challenging time.

The boys and I try to make a dessert for Thanksgiving and we love finding something new to whip up together. You can make up one of the delicious cake recipes or chocolate desserts in the book and then leave the book for the hostess to keep.
