Last minute gift ideas can be valuable if you’ve forgotten someone on your list. It happens more than you think, since we are so busy buying gifts and food that we may forget to cross that last name off the list. Sometimes, it can be someone you forgot to put on the list in the first place!

10 Last Minute Gift Ideas for Everyone

Never fear… we have 10 last minute gift ideas for just about anyone you need to buy for.

1. Pajamas

Everyone on your Christmas gift list could benefit from a new pair of comfortable pajamas and/or slippers. Get a fun character design for kids, or something more subtle like plaid or stripes for adults.

2. Gift Card

No matter the occasion, gift cards make great ideas for last minute gifts. If you are pressed for time, think about the recipient. What’s his favorite clothing store? Her favorite restaurant? Purchase the gift card based on his/her preferences, to show you put some thought into the purchase.

3. Travel Mug

Give the gift of insulation with a nice travel mug or tumbler. You can find a variety of these last minute gift ideas in stores or online at Amazon. If your recipient likes coffee and owns a Keurig, you could toss in their favorite K-cup flavor too.

4. Gift Basket

Gift baskets are great last minute gift ideas for anyone on your list, because they can be personalized. You could do a theme, like chocolate lovers or movie night, for the person that will be receiving the basket. Try to think of their favorite things when you are filling the basket, so they are sure to love it.

5. Kitchenware

Almost everyone could use a new kitchen tool or gadget. Newlyweds may need more dishes or small appliances. Older couples may want to replace some of their silverware or glasses. If you are buying for someone who seems to have everything, think outside the box.

Maybe some cool Star Wars salt and pepper shakers?

6. Food

If you have the time, you can whip up some cookies and other homemade goodies for last minute gift ideas. Package them in coffee mugs or cute bowls that can be reused.

You may find that you don’t even have an hour to bake. You can still go out and find your recipient’s favorite chocolates or candies. Visit a local bakery and mix and match some pastries that contain his/her favorite ingredients if needed.

7. Workout Gear

Many people like to exercise for its health benefits. Even if they don’t now, they may start as a new year’s resolution. New digs, a gym bag, or handy workout towel with zippered pocket could be the perfect gift.

8. DVDs

If you know your recipient has a favorite actor, buy a couple of their movies as a last minute gift. The same can be done for kids…just get a couple Disney classics they don’t yet have. If you aren’t sure what your recipient likes, skip the DVDs and get a couple movie pass certificates for your local theater as a present.

9. Adult Coloring Books

Coloring is a great stress reliever for adults, and coloring books make great last minute gift ideas. People don’t realize the power of coloring until they actually try it. They may really be thanking you after they test out the gift!

10. Bluetooth Speaker

This last minute idea can span ages, as kids and adults all love listening to music. These speakers are generally small and easy to carry. They would be great for kids to take to sleepovers or for adults to listen to while working out or cleaning the home. With almost everyone having a smartphone these days, these speakers can definitely come in handy.
