Successful Game Day Gathering Tips

The Big Game will be here in less than two weeks! If you haven't started planning for your party yet, I have you covered! We're sharing 3 tips for an easy Game Day Gathering!

Activities for the Kids

Some of the older kids really get into watching football, but let's face it: The Big Game that wraps up the entire season is really long! Make sure that you have some activities the kids can do!

Some easy and fun ideas to keep the kids entertained:

  1. Get out the stickers, markers, glue, construction paper, and any other craft supplies you have hidden around the house and have the kids decorate signs to cheer on their favorite team!
  2. Print out some coloring sheets for the teams that made it!
  3. Make a sheet cake and frost it with green frosting (you can add a little dye to white). Using candy, cookies, more icing, sprinkles, and whatever else you may have, let the kids decorate the field!

Football Field Cake to Decorate

Depending on the age of your crowd, they may need help getting started. This is what is so awesome about this activity though, it's something that kids of all ages will enjoy!

And then of course, everyone gets to appreciate their work and eat yummy cake before the game is over!

Be Prepared

For Game Day, we like to wear shirts that support our team (sometimes we're supporting them long after they're finished for the year).

That cute kid there definitely knows how to make a mess, especially with that cake we made to keep him entertained!

Messy Kid with Tide Pods

Kids (and adults) are messy in general, but when you add in all of that tasty game day food, you're bound to have a few spills.

For the clothes, we're able to use Tide PODS Spring Meadow. This busy mom loves that I'm able to get clothes 6x more clean just by using a single 3-in-1: detergent, stain remover, brightener! They dissolve quickly in hot and cold water, while targeting tough stains!

Prepared with Bounty for Football Party

As far as the table spills go, we can clean that up with Bounty Select-A-Size. Game Day foods are no match for these towels with their unique Trap & Lock Technology that absorbs messes quickly!

And while giving everything a good wipe down before friends arrive for your game day party, spray some Febreze Air Effects Linen & Sky. It helps eliminate tough odors rather than covering them up! I used some right inside the door where the shoe collection is!

Febreze Air Effects

Remember the most important part of a great game day party is having fun! No matter what kind of food you have, what team wins, you spent game day with friends and family!

Do you have any tips for a successful game day gathering?
