We had another beautiful weekend! I’m so glad that we’ve been able to enjoy the weekends. When I was working, I worked every weekend: 10 hour days. I always felt like I was missing all the fun that happens on the weekends.
Friday started out with a trip to the library to get some new books and movies.
Then later in the afternoon, we had a birthday party to go to at an awesome pool! The grown-ups (Not me though) even enjoyed the big slide they had! The pictures from this party are from Aunt Ellie, I didn’t take them. She’s the photographer for all family events for my BFF and ALWAYS has her camera on her!
Saturday morning we hung out with a friend then extended an invite to the pool at Nanny’s. If you’re looking for a floatation suit for your little one, check out this Puddle Jumper Suit. This is our second summer with it for Charlie and we all love it. It allows Charlie to swim around, being Mr. Independent, and we don’t worry about him.
After the pool two days in a row, everyone was wiped out so we enjoyed a family movie night with some perfectly popped popcorn!
After church on Sunday, we had a lazy day! We oops while watching House of Cards on Netflix and let the boys sleep from about 6-9pm. Luckily, Charlie woke up, ate dinner, and went to bed nicely. Owen finally crashed around midnight!
