As we're getting into the school routine, easy dinners are at the top of my list! Not to mention, the holidays are just around the corner and we all know the craziness that comes with them!
Today I want to tell you about a new theme for dinner! Have you heard of Manwich Monday? Manwich Monday is a great way to kick-off the week with a tasty, easy-to-make, family meal around the dinner table.
I'm sure we all know how to make Sloppy Joes with Manwich, but because it has no meat, it can be used for so much more than that! Manwich is a hearty sauce with a sweet and tangy taste that's perfect for sandwiches, pastas and more.
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups water
- 1 (16 ounce) can pinto beans
- 1 can Manwich
- 2 cups uncooked noodles
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet, drain, and return to skillet.
- Add in the water, Manwich, and pinto beans. Stir to combine.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add in the noodles and cover.
- Turn down to a simmer, and cook for about 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When noodles are done, remove from heat.
- Stir in cheese and serve!
Being able to make this chuckwagon skillet dinner all in one skillet makes it taste even better! Less dishes at the end of the night makes less stress and more family time!
Sitting down to dinner is a big deal to me. When we sit in the living room, which we're guilty of more than I'd like to admit, I'm on the laptop or my phone while eating. The Kid-Stopping Power of Manwich makes meals a messy-licious treat to be enjoyed with both hands – giving moms and dads an easy, quality ingredient to bring the family’s attention back to mealtime and away from everyday distractions.
