I have partnered with Hormel Foods as part of their Extended Family Blogger Program. While Hormel Foods provides me with material and yummy food, all opinions are my own.
During the summer, spending the day in the kitchen is definitely not on my list! It seems like we’re constantly running around and getting as much crammed into the day as possible.
When we get in from all that summer fun, I like to be able to throw together dinner that’s tasty, but only takes a few minutes. That’s pretty much our goal as moms, right?
In this month’s Hormel package, we received the new Lloyd’s Barbecue Company Pulled Pork. We’ve had the tubs before that are already sauced, but this was completely different. It’s hardwood smoked and is delicious on it’s on, but we added sauce to it.
I think this new Pulled Pork would be a great idea for an easy cookout, too. You could set-up a little barbecue bar with all of the toppings and different sauces.
Also in our box this month was a Hormel Side Dish, Macaroni and Cheese. You know how much we love mac and cheese, but I had never tried one of the refrigerated sides. I wasn’t sure how well it would go over, but it is a win! We’ve already bought a few because they’re amazingly easy, creamy and extra cheesy.
So, for a quick and easy pulled pork dinner, you just need to pop the pulled pork into a dish, cover with plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minutes. The mac and cheese was just as easy: 2 minutes in the microwave, stir and 2 more minutes!
I gathered a few great recipes for barbecue sauces that will go great on the pulled pork! Check out a few from my favorite bloggers and enjoy an easy dinner the family will love.
