We took a trip to Ireland last year, but it was just us. We knew immediately the kids would love it, so this time we brought the kids to Ireland! Day 1 We left the house Monday, August 14th about noon and arrived at Newark International Airport at about 2:30, breezed through security, and sat […]
JBF Middletown/Dover Fall Sale
This post may contain affiliate links, meaning I may make money when you purchase through them.
I received a gift certificate to shop the sale. All opinions are my mother’s.
We’re on our way to Myrtle Beach, so Mommom hit up the Just Between Friends sale for us today in Middletown, DE! Yes, I’m in the car on the laptop and will post this when we find wi-fi. Hey… what else am I supposed to do while in the car for 10 hours?
Anyway…
At the JBF sale this weekend, you’ll be able to find everything from car seats and strollers to juniors and maternity! If your kid needs it, chances are you can find it here!
My mom took my (much younger) step-sister to help her find some deals for the boys and some for herself too.
If you haven’t been to a large consignment sale before, it can definitely seem overwhelming. Lucky for us, mom is not a newb! She knows to throw everything in the bag if you might possibly want to purchase it and look through later to re-evaluate your shopping bag.
One thing mom said is that the sale seems very crowded and tight to maneuver through. I blame the fact that the Middletown/Dover sale is still so new and people are catching on to how great you can make out as a consignor and a buyer! As the sale continues to grow, I hope they’ll be able to find a larger space to better accommodate all the awesomeness that you encounter at a JBF sale.
You can shop until 7pm tonight at Louis Redding Middle School: 201 New Street, Middletown, DE.
Tomorrow is 50% off day from 8am – 3pm. Anything WITHOUT a star on the tag is 50% off! That means that you’re getting a great deal for even less! Did I mention that they’re hiding gift certificates on the sales floor tomorrow?!?
Get there early to get the best deals and wait in line a bit less hopefully. Mom got in line at 11:50am and didn’t make it out until almost 2pm! She did mention how much she appreciated the complimentary drinks and snacks while waiting though!
Another suggestion if you have kids that you’ll want to try clothes on, have them wear something underneath. There’s no changing rooms, so keep that in mind. I know for our little ones, that’s not an issue. For my step-sister though, she’s at that age where she’s between sizes and brands vary their sizes so much anyway. We all want a good deal, but only if the kids can actually use it.
I’m a bit bummed we didn’t get to shop the sale this weekend, but I know Mommom did a great job!
