We took a trip to Ireland last year, but it was just us. We knew immediately the kids would love it, so this time we brought the kids to Ireland! Day 1 We left the house Monday, August 14th about noon and arrived at Newark International Airport at about 2:30, breezed through security, and sat […]
Kicking Off Mr. Fashionable Series

This is our first official post in the Mr. Fashionable series. We’ve been posting children’s clothing for boys for awhile now, but I decided to make it more of a series. You can find all of the posts up top by clicking on “Mr. Fashionable”.
I have no idea where Charlie first came up with word “fashionable”, but he’s been asking us “Do I look fashionable?” or telling Daddy he looks fashionable. So, I decided to name our Boy’s Fashion series “Mr. Fashionable”.
We selected our first pair of shorts with FabKids in April. We chose the Summertime Plaid Outfit. It’s finally warm enough that we’re wearing shorts consistently. I really like that the shorts are completely elastic in the waist, which makes fitting my slim boy easier. We ordered a 4 for Charlie, which fit him perfect, so I’d say they run true to size. I’m sure the elastic waist helps with that. They hit him right about the knee, which is a great length for boy shorts.
We ordered a 4 for the shirt as well, which is actually a 4-5, S. For our next outfit, we’re going back to the XS because this is too big for Charlie. I can’t tell him that though because it’s blue and that’s the best color ever.
I really like that this is a dressier looking outfit for Charlie, but still super comfortable! I don’t like having to fight him to wear certain clothes that look nicer than play clothes and this definitely fits that bill!
If you’re not familiar with FabKids, it’s a monthly subscription for children’s clothing. The great part is that you can choose to skip each month if it’s not in the budget or you don’t find something you like (finding something won’t be the problem though). If you don’t skip, you’ll be charged $29.95 and receive a credit to pick out an outfit for the month.
It’s really easy to get started and really easy to cancel (but remember, you can skip every month and you won’t be charged).
Have you tried FabKids yet?

I have a shoe membership with JustFab and I sometimes forget to cancel each month. UGH. This outfit is cute.
