My kids absolutely love peanut butter and jelly. They do get it honest though. I ate several PB&J sandwiches a day while I was pregnant (especially with Charlie) because it was about the only thing I could keep down.
Like any mom of little ones, I hear the words “I’m hungry” pretty much all day. Being able to give the kids a filling snack is pretty high up there on my list of priorities. Welch’s Graham Slam! contain 7 grams of protein and 12 grams of whole grain! This mom of starving boys can definitely appreciate that!
I love switching things up and the Welch’s Graham Slam! Grape PB&J are perfect for putting a different spin on one of our favorite things.
When I’m looking for something different to pack in Charlie’s lunch, I toss one of these in straight from the freezer. While they’re delicious frozen, they’re just as yummy thawed and the crackers are surprisingly crisp.
Now that Charlie’s in Kindergarten and packing lunch every day, I like to sneak little notes in every now and then. Of course, he is only in Kindergarten and not exactly reading. I created some cute notes that are great for those early readers. I’m sure the teachers in the cafeteria can help him out, too!
Print them out by clicking on the lunch box notes below.
Sticking notes in the lunch box is a cute way for the little ones to know you’re thinking about them and cheering them on. If your kiddo is packing their own lunch, add it in when they’re not looking!
Owen and I enjoy taking a snack whenever we’re out and about. It keeps everyone happy! Honestly, these are absolutely perfect for breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, or to bring along when it’s your day for team snack (we all know how fun that is, right?)!
You can find them in the frozen section, right next to other PB&J items, at your local Walmart.
