We took a trip to Ireland last year, but it was just us. We knew immediately the kids would love it, so this time we brought the kids to Ireland! Day 1 We left the house Monday, August 14th about noon and arrived at Newark International Airport at about 2:30, breezed through security, and sat […]

I could pretend that we’re the type of family that seeks out green products that help our environment, but that’s just not true. But, When I come across a product that I really love and it happens to help our planet? I definitely call that a win!
Today I want to introduce you to Re-Play. Re-Play is a family owned, family-focused company that makes products from recycled milk jugs! How awesome is that? Did I tell you that they’re made in the USA? Another win!Charlie was so excited when he saw the recycling symbol on his new tableware! He went on and on about how that means that they take something old and make something new with it.
The packaging is made from recycled paperboard and doesn’t use any extra restraints like twist ties that create additional waste. One pound of recycled plastic (1 lb = 2 gallon milk jugs) saves enough energy to power a 60W light bulb for 6 days, charge a smartphone for 31 weeks, power a 32″ LCD TV for 3 days, and charge an electric car for 6 hours! That’s truly amazing to me!
For the month of May, you can get this awesome Under The Sea set for $22.
This set has everything you’d need for breakfast, dinner, lunch or a snack. All you’ll need is food!
We also got a spill-proof cup for Owen that has been amazing so far! It just has a simple valve and it doesn’t leak. Like most toddlers, Owen’s cup hits the ground quite a few times during the day and it hasn’t broken or leaked! Definitely something we look for in a spill-proof cup!
I see so many awesome ideas on pinterest and instagram of cute food for their kids. I’m not going to show you all that because that’s not really who we are. My kids like to eat though, so I’ll show you a couple of their meals they’ve been enjoying in the new bright tableware!
You know my boys are tough on things. These dishes from Re-Play can definitely withstand the tests they have been put through. So much so, they’re able to be run over by a car! Re-Play tested that, not us! I love being able to hand the boys a cup or plate and know that if it drops, it’s not going to break into pieces like some of our typical plastic plates have done.
You can really see how deep the wells are here. And we really love that the spoon can actually hold food in it because it has such a deep scoop, unlike other toddler spoons we’ve tried previously.
This allows Owen to be as independent as he likes to be, building confidence with his utensil abilities.
You can purchase at Re-Play directly or you can find Re-Play products at Walmart, Whole Foods, Kroger, Amazon or various other shops and grocers around the country.
The prices are great, too! Re-Play believes that you should be rewarded for going green! And remember, they’re built to last! I love that these colors will stay bold and bright and we don’t have to worry about designs fading or even peeling off. Oh, they’re dishwasher safe, too! Yay for easy clean-up!
Re-Play is offering a giveaway for you! One Mom’s Messy Miracles reader will win a feeding set of their own!
