Living a healthy lifestyle is an important part of a happy life. Exercise and eating well-balanced meals is not always easy, but necessary components for your well-being. Many people have struggled with the weight loss and gain rollercoaster. If you are finding it hard to keep you New Year’s resolution to lose weight, the Fitbit might be exactly what you need. Here are some reasons why you should use a Fitbit.

Fitbit will help you keep track of your activity.

Keeping track of your activity is easy with a Fitbit. It will help you keep track of your goals and give you a baseline. The baseline is important to know where you are starting so you can see the progress you are making.  Having a device to help you keep track of your activity, will help you to make a commitment to exercise.

Fitbit can provide a lot of great information.

Depending on the model of Fitbit you purchase, the information it collects can include heart monitoring, how you sleep at night, and reminders to get up and move. All this information, together with your step count in a day, can help you to tweak your plan, so it is somewhat of a personalized approach to fitness.

Fitbit can give you that extra push to stay committed.

One of the most important aspects of getting healthy is staying committed. Most people start out very excited and motivated, but as time goes on they start to lose the motivation. Slipping back into old habits and not pushing yourself to continue is the reason most people fail to reach their health goals. The Fitbit can give you that extra push to stay committed because you can see your progress. The Fitbit is like your own exercise journal if you use it every day you will reach your goals.

Fitbit is a physical reminder of your new healthy lifestyle.

The Fitbit helps you make exercise a normal habit or routine in your life. Starting slowly and adding on new habits like taking the stairs instead of the elevator can help you make it a part of your everyday life.

Fitbit makes it easy to challenge your friends.

If you're competitive like I am, you'll love how easy the Fitbit makes it to challenge your friends! When I bring up one of my challenges and see someone is not too far ahead of me, that makes me want to hop up and catch them! There are several challenges to choose from including a Workweek Hustle and Weekend Warrior.

There are many reasons that a Fitbit can help you reach your peak performance level. It can help you by keeping track of your progress, giving you valuable information and remind you to stay committed to your plan. If you fail one day, just pick up the very next day with your plan. Don’t beat yourself up about it and don’t let one day turn into a week, month, and so on. Once it is a habit and routine, you will see yourself reaching your goals and finally conquer that weight loss rollercoaster.
