Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Charlie has been all about playing games lately. However, he doesn’t have the attention span right now to play a whole board game. Thinkfun’s Move & Groove is perfect for Charlie!

Move & Groove

From Thinkfun:

Lots of Ways to Move with Your Child’s First Dance Game
Move & Groove is the perfect first game for toddlers! Designed to inspire movement, creativity, laughter and learning, it’s a fun way to introduce the basics of game play and the joy of movement without the pressure of competition. The rules are simple—toss the plush cube to determine color, choose a matching colored card and perform the given move. There’s no right or wrong way to boogie—it’s all up to interpretation—so players can use their imagination while improving balance, coordination and flexibility. The perfect game to build confidence and celebrate all the things your little one does so well!
• Ages 18 months and up

I love this game and I love that Charlie loves it! Charlie rolls the cube, tells me what color it landed on, then picks up that color card. An awesome thing about the cards is that you don’t really need to be able to read to know what they’re telling you to do, most of them Charlie can figure out by the picture. Move & Groove Game

It’s great practice for matching colors, following directions, and taking turns. Plus, it gets everyone (including mom and dad) up and moving around!

The game includes 48 cards- 8 for each of 6 categories. My favorite part: the cards go in a box and then the box fits into a pocket on the cube. The pocket has a velcro closure, so the whole game is in the cube. No lost pieces and it saves space! Oh and did I mention the cube is washable?!?

You can check out Thinkfun on Facebook and purchase Move & Groove on Amazon.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

That looks awesome. Wish they had something like this when the 9 year old was a baby.
