We received this book in exchange for our post, but all opinions are my own.

We’re always looking for ways to add faithful lessons into our everyday craziness. A new Read and Share book is perfect for just that!

Read and Share 5 Minute Bible Stories

Noah built a big boat and David took down a giant. Beautiful Queen Esther saved her people. Jesus healed a sick boy and stopped a storm! What will happen next?

Ninety exciting adventures will capture your little ones’ (aimed at ages 4-7) hearts and minds in Read and Share 5-Minute Bible Stories. The big, beautiful hardcover book is full of stories from Genesis to Revelation. Perfect for reading aloud in about five minutes, these stories from both the Old and New Testament are told in kid-friendly language. Plus, closing questions and thoughts for discussion help parents guide toddlers’ and preschoolers’ understanding—and keep them looking forward to the next story time.

Charlie, at four and a half, is really getting into the idea of stories. He loves to create and tell his own stories and he’s at the age that he can really comprehend stories that are being told to him as well.

5 Minute Bible Stories

However, he is only 4 and sitting still and focusing on something for an extended period of time just isn’t really an option right now. The stories in Read and Share 5 Minute Bible Stories really are five minute lessons. We’re able to read the story, discuss it using the questions included on the page and look at the great illustrations all in five minutes or less.

Because they really are five minute stories, you can easily use this book as a morning devotion, storytime in the middle of the day or even a bedtime lesson.

Thanks to Tommy Nelson, one of you will win a copy of Read and Share Minute Bible Stories for your home!

I would have to say spending time with my son to read and learn about the bible. I love the quite time and the questions he ask about Jesus. It’s a beautiful thing.
