Checkout Made Easier with Softcard

Like most people, I try to get in and out of the store as quickly as possible. It’s important to me to be able to get what I need in a timely manner and to save money. Softcard is a free app that lets you pay using your phone, save with special offers, and store all of your store loyalty, membership, and rewards cards!

You can download it on your Android or Windows devices with AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless service providers.

I don’t know about you, but I’ve left the house plenty of times forgetting to put my wallet in the diaper bag or to grab my purse. Nothing like getting to the front of the checkout line with a cart full of groceries just to realize you don’t have your wallet. With Softcard, you just need your phone! You can store your credit cards to pay for purchases and receive all the benefits and protections you would with your physical card. I easily added my prepaid Serve card and I was ready to shop! If you don’t have one, you can set one up and add money to it with your debit card, credit card, or U.S. bank account.

To use, you just open the app, put your 4 digit pin code in, choose your card and tap the contactless symbol to pay!

During one of my errand runs, I forgot to grab my wallet (it happens more often than not), but had my phone with me. I needed gas and was able to run into my Sunoco station and use my phone to pay via Softcard! So easy! The girl working the register had no idea what I was doing, but was pretty impressed I just paid with my phone! She said she hadn’t seen that yet and she was downloading it by the time I left.

Okay, so it’s not just your credit cards you can add- you’re adding all your loyalty cards too. I know… they have those little keytags with them on there, but I drive a car that doesn’t require me to actually get my keys out of my purse (or diaper bag). Not having to pull my keys out and thumb through the 10 or so on my keys is great! I have added all of my loyalty cards, but haven’t used them yet. Next trip to Walgreens, I’ll be testing that out!

I’m loving the Toys R Us coupon up there for $10 off a $60 purchase! That could definitely come in handy for those last minute holiday shopping trips. Not only will you not have to dig out your credit card or rewards card, you’ll save some money! Oh and I saw one for my first 3 Coca-Colas free from the vending machine when I use Softcard! Free soda? Yes, please!
