One Pot Cheesy Smoked Sausage Pasta

At our house, we need a protein in every meal. Hillshire Farm Lit’l Smokies have made it a breeze to add protein to our dishes. Sure, you can always eat mac and cheese plain, but doesn’t this look so much better?

Hillshire Farm Lit'l Smokies

Before shopping at Safeway, I always check my Just For U coupons and add anything I might pick up. The coupons are added right to my card! Right now, you can find some great coupons on Hillshire Brands, including this one for Lit’l Smokies.

So… I was pleasantly surprised to find them on sale at Safeway! Paired with the coupon, the deal was even better! I already had a plan for dinner and this just added to it!

This meal looks super yummy. I love a meal that I can make in one pot. I hate having a sink AND dishwasher full of dirty dishes!

This looks good. I’ve made similar with smoked sausage and sliced it up, but never with little smokies. Thanks for the great idea.

I have to try this. We have some chicken sausage in the freezer this would be perfect for using. I’m going to take out the cheese but every thing else sounds great. I think the cheese would help the flavors but we have a dairy allergy in my family.

So quick and easy to make. This would be perfect for those nights when you’ve got no time left once you get home from sports/meetings/what-have-you, but you still have to make dinner.

I made this meal for dinner tonight. It was really runny so maybe don’t add so much broth? I will make it again but will tweek it a bit.

I just made this for dinner…and it is awesome! I used coconut milk instead of heavy cream and only 1 cup of broth. I added scallions, garlic & onion powder too. Bon Appetite!
