If you haven’t seen a weather update lately, the east coast is about to be hit by a major snow storm. Schools got out early today in anticipation of a blizzard this weekend!

The BFG

Disney has released the first poster for the July 1st release of The BFG! This is one that I am really excited about taking Charlie to see in theater. Before July rolls around though, I want to read it to him, so I picked up a copy of The BFG for some read aloud time!

A New Jacket

After about ten years with my current jacket, I decided it would be nice to get a new one. My mom is really good about asking us what we want for holidays and she knew I wanted a new jacket. When we went out for my birthday, I didn’t find one in store that I liked and fit.

I did find one online though and it arrived yesterday, just in time for our snow this weekend!

Soft Blankets

I had some Kohl’s cash back in December that I needed to use and I found the most amazing blanket on a great deal.

The Big One® Super Soft Plush Throw is probably the most snuggly blanket I’ve ever had. Owen’s currently snuggled up on the couch snoozing away with it right now. And of course, I opted for a football blanket because it’s perfect to cuddle in watching the game!
