We love games. Tom and I played lots of board games, but since we’ve had the boys those game nights have dwindled down. Charlie, my kindergartner, loves playing games (just like Mommy and Daddy). I wanted to share some great ideas for family game night that the whole family can get enjoy!
Pie Face – This game is a sure-fire hit with a family of little ones! Whipped cream in your face?!?
Mario Party Star Rush – (We received Mario Party Star Rush and an amiibo from Nintendo.) Charlie loves playing with his Nintendo 3DS XL and this is a fun game that we can all play together! We all know us 80s kids love us some Mario! In Mario Party Star Rush, you can use one of the 7 new amiibo to immediately team up with Mushroom Kingdom allies!
5 Second Rule Jr – You have to spit out an answer in just 5 seconds! You’re sure to hear some silly answers from your little ones!
Lumpy Cubes – Everyone will like playing this stacking game that helps with memory, reaction time, and motor skills!
Monkeys Up – Flip, Switch, and Steal monkeys in this game that will have the whole family going bananas!
Personalogy – This card game will get the whole family talking and you’ll discover some new things about each other. It’s question and answer style with multiple choice, making it easier for the little ones to be involved.
Trouble – I don’t think I need to explain Trouble. It’s a classic. Every family should have one on the shelf.
Smack It – Looking for a new twist on old favorites like SlapJack and War? This one is educational, too!
Rooster Race – The object is to make an educated guess and maybe you’ll win an ear of corn!
Tension – It’s a race to call out matching words on a specific subject!
Stinky Pig – A singing pig that toots?!? This has family game night written all over it!
Turtle Flip – Kids will learn left, right, and the value of numbers in this twist on the classic memory game.
Family Scavenger Hunt – Broken up into two decks (indoor and outdoor), kids of all ages will like hunting for these objects!
Just Dance Kids 2 – Get the family up and moving with this fun game featuring songs from some of their favorite movies!
I’d love to hear some of your favorite family games that you like to play with your little ones!
