In our house, pasta is on our menu at least once a week. Charlie's not crazy about the sauce, but everyone else will eat it. I make make meatballs for parties usually, but we'll have them with pasta for dinner to mix things up sometimes.

Easy Messy Meatballs

I was sent a few recipes that are known to make a mess. The meatball recipe included is very similar to the one I usually make, so I made them instead to share with you.

Recipe type: Dinner
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ¼ cup dried Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • pasta sauce
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Combine beef, breadcrumbs, cheese, egg and Worcestershire in a mixing bowl.
  4. Roll into 1- 1½″ sized balls and place in muffin tins.
  5. Bake until cooked through, about 20 minutes.
  6. Add to your favorite pasta sauce.
Notes
About halfway through cooking, turn meatballs in the muffin pan to brown the other side.

To brown the meatballs really well, turn on the broiler for the last couple of minutes. Watch carefully so you don’t burn them.

This was my first time making the meatballs in a muffin pan though. I love it and will be doing it more often. I love how easy it was to get those crispy meatballs.

Cleanup Messy Meals Easier

We all know how messy tomato sauce is and how wonderful those splatters are all over your kitchen.

Being completely honest, I was very skeptical of the Bounty with Dawn paper towels. The new Bounty with Dawn is a specially designed 2-in-1 product that combines an ultra-durable Bounty paper towel with grease-fighting power of Dawn dish soap. Sounds great, right?

Well, they are!

All you have to do is run your Bounty with Dawn paper towel under a little water, wring it out and use it to wipe up all your messes including dried food residue and grease! This will definitely be taking the place of a dishcloth or nasty sponge around our house.

I could smell the Dawn as soon as I unwrapped the package! It has that amazing fresh clean scent that you just know is going to work.

Easy Cleanup Bounty with Dawn

The great part is that you can use Bounty with Dawn several times. You just rinse and wring the mess out and then continue using the same sheet. That's because Bounty with Dawn is the thickest, strongest Bounty available, with 70% more fibers in each sheet!

Bounty with Dawn reusable

Of course, we'll still be using Regular Bounty paper towels for some messes, but I see these being a regular on our Walmart shopping list!

Check out Bounty on Facebook and Twitter.

I have the same problem with meatballs that I do with meatloaf; I am always concerned that they will not be cooked all the way through.
