As a member of the Netflix Stream Team, I receive a Netflix subscription and a streaming device. All opinions are my own.
This month, I’m teaming up with some fellow #StreamTeam bloggers for some “Netflix Madness”! We all have our own favorite binge-worthy shoes, but we want to hear your picks, too! We’re making brackets with all of our picks and see which show is really the most binge-worthy!
Scandal
I was definitely late to the Scandal train. I started watching while pregnant with Owen in 2013. Lucky for me, I had a toddler at the time that didn’t care what was on the TV all day and I watched every episode that was available at that time. Thanks to Netflix, I became a Scandal fan. Now, it’s one of the few shows I make sure I follow weekly.
I love following along each week with all of the crazy political cover-ups, scandals and the love triangle that is Liv, Jake and Fitz. You’ll definitely find some steamy sex scenes and gross murder scenes. Who doesn’t love Scott Foley? I was so excited to see him join Scandal. Anyone else remember Felicity?
Scandal is for sure one of my guilty pleasures. There are some naughty scenes, murder mysteries and just good drama.
One Tree Hill
When I moved into an apartment in college, one of the girls watched One Tree Hill every week. Well, I started watching a couple of seasons in and really enjoyed it. Lucky for me, I was able to go back and catch up on Netflix. This quickly became a show that I could watch for hours.
Brooke, Lucas, Peyton, Haley, Nathan and the rest of the high school gang will quickly become your best friends. Throughout the series, you watch the characters grow and develop. In 9 seasons, they certainly change. Again, you’ll find a love triangle (or five) and all of that good high school drama that we pretend to hate. The great part about watching it on-screen is you can relate so much to everything, but don’t really have to deal with it. And you’ll cry. A lot. That ugly cry, you know the one I’m talking about.
One Tree Hill is one of those shows you can watch over and over and over again. I just started rewatching Season 1. I love the entire series and I’m still sad that it had to end.
So… which one do I choose?
One Tree Hill
For me, One Tree Hill can be watched from start to finish more than once. That right there makes it more binge-worthy to me. The time really flies by when you’re watching and you’re just waiting to find out who ends up with who. Maybe I’m in denial that I’m 29 now, but they’re much older in the last few seasons: they skip 5 years after High School.
Now it’s your turn!
