As a member of the Netflix Stream Team, I receive a Netflix subscription and a streaming device. All opinions are my own.

I don't know about you, but my kids are THE WORST at going to bed! Why is it that everything is immediately wrong at bedtime?

Netflix Bedtime Staller

Turns out, the bedtime excuses are universal –more than 60% of parents around the globe are dealing with kids’ stall tactics before bed, adding up to nearly 20 minutes every single night. But guess what? It’s time to take back your night with a little help from Netflix.

Next time you find yourself in the bedtime battle, just tell your kids they can watch an ENTIRE show before bed. Yep, you heard us right, and no, we haven’t lost our minds. Today, Netflix and DreamWorks Animation launched Dinotrux 5 Minute Favorites, new episodes of the latest hit, all in a nice little 5-minute package — letting your little negotiator think they’re getting away with the age-old ‘just five more minutes’ ploy. In a mere 300-seconds, your kids will be speechless as they march themselves up to bed knowing they got exactly what they wanted. You: 1, Kids’ stalls: 0.

I asked some of my friends what they're kid's best excuses are for why they can't go to bed and here's what they said:

“Where is my blanket?” (it's on the bed) – Brooke

“Can I watch one more episode of [insert favorite show here]?” – Jana

“My legs hurt” – Camille

“I have to see who she marries!” (princess obsessed) – Chrissy

Deb‘s teen is always binge watching and you “just can't turn it off”!

“I forgot to put this in my bookbag” – Brooke

“I had a bad dream. Can I stay up?” (after less than 5 min in bed) – Camille

Even the best bedtime excuses have met their match with Dinotrux 5 Minute Favorites.

Tucking them in is magic, it’s just getting there that’s the hard part. So make bedtime a little easier with three new Dinotrux 5 Minute Favorites from Netflix.

omg I go through the same thing. but yes i let them watch a whole show or something like that. My daughters have ADD and ADHD so putting them to bed for me takes anywhere from an hour to 3 or more hours. It’s exhausting. Yes I keep calm until about after 2 hours lol. I try my best and yes been to do the doctor and no sleep studies will not help children under 13 yrs old.

so yeah it’s melatonin at least sometimes for the oldest. The youngest has sensory issues because she is also developmentally disabled.
my kids are 9 and 8 yrs old.
