When you get your first place there are a lot of things you need to do to set it up. One of the rooms that you will spend the most time is the kitchen. Seriously! No matter if this is your first place since graduating from college you moved out right out of high school, make sure your kitchen has what it needs. Here are the basics to set up your kitchen when you are just starting out.
14-Piece Nonstick Ceramic Cookware Set
You will need pots and pans to cook in and this 14-Piece Nonstick Ceramic Cookware Set not only is a nice set, but it is easy on the wallet too. It has every size pot and pan you will need when you are just starting out from a big stock pot to a saute pan.
Flatware Set
You cannot use the plastic forks you get at Taco Bell forever! Buy a Flatware Set that has the basics in it like knives, forks, and spoons. This set also comes with a salad fork and a teaspoon – fancy!
Color Coded Knife Set

Coffeemaker
I’m not sure if there is anything more important in your first kitchen than a Coffeemaker. You don’t have to get all fancy when you are just starting out. A basic 5-cup brewer will do the job every morning.
Ceramic Coffee Mugs
Right along with that coffeemaker, you will need Ceramic Coffee Mugs. These hold in the hot coffee and warm your hands up at the same time.
You Need To Eat On Something
You can’t forget that You Need To Eat On Something, you know, like plates and bowls. This set is fun and colorful and includes salad plates, dinner plates, plus good-sized bowls.
Storage Containers
It is easy to make big meals and use Storage Containers to hold the leftovers. This set has every size imaginable and will last you a long time. Don’t worry, they are microwavable and dishwasher safe too.
Slow Cooker with Dipper
Every starter kitchen needs a Slow Cooker. It is so easy to learn how to cook with one. Put all the ingredients into the Crock-Pot in the morning and you have a delicious meal when you come home at night.
Magic Bullet NutriBullet
For an easy way to mix up ingredients or to make smoothies, invest in the Magic Bullet NutriBullet. It can chop vegetables easy enough and mixes up a smoothie for one in no time.
I’d love to hear some of your suggestions for your first kitchen.
