We love when a new VeggieTales movie comes out! Both boys love VeggieTales (and mom and dad don’t mind them either). We were able to see Noah’s Ark before it’s even in stores!

VeggieTales Noah's Ark

VeggieTales has done it again! The VeggieTales take of the story of Noah is just like any other VeggieTales movie: bright, funny, full of songs and carries an important lesson.

Noah and his family together with a zoo full of animals take an adventure aboard an orange slice ark. After 40 days and nights of rain, everyone's faith has been tested, and they're ready to jump ship. Will they chart a new course, or will they remember to trust God's promises?

Trusting God is never easy, but we see in this kid-friendly version how Noah and his family were spared because they followed God’s instructions. Following anyone’s instructions can be hard for a toddler or preschooler, but it’s something we’re always working on.

Like all VeggieTales, they put a veggie twist to it. For example, the ark is a big orange slice! Putting the funny spins to it doesn’t take away the message about trusting God, it just makes it more entertaining for the kids. And parents: Did I mention Wayne Brady sings in this one? I was very excited to hear him sing along! The songs were catchy and Owen danced right along with the beat.

You can head over to VeggieTales to print a few Noah’s Ark coloring sheets. Or look for activities for your other VeggieTales favorites. They really do have some fun activities for the kids.

We made a rainbow to hang on the wall as a reminder of God’s promise to us. It’s simple enough and Charlie loves all things crafty. Just draw a big rainbow on a sheet of cardstock, cut it out, draw your lines for different colors and let the kids go to town gluing tissue paper. I did the first of each color with Charlie so he’d know which color goes in which section.

Rainbows remind us of God's Promise

You can print your own rainbow by downloading our free printable rainbow.

This sounds like it would be lots of fun. I have never seen Veggie Tales but would imagine that children would love to watch them.

I always thought Veggietales was such a great learning show for kids. My son sadly never showed any interest but i think it is totally adorable!

What a clever idea to put little dots of color on a blank rainbow so a child can easily fill it out with color or tissue paper…going to pin this! Thank you for sharing!

This one isn’t as funny a title as some of them are. Very punny ones.
