Thanks to BODYARMOR for sponsoring today's post. As usual, all opinions are my own (and Charlie's).

The season of Spring sports is upon us! I know kids play sports year round, I did growing up. But there's something different about running around in the grass, under the hot sun, that really wears you down.

Rethink Your Sports Drinks BODYARMOR- made from natural ingredients!

BODYARMOR is a premium sports drink that is low in sodium and unlike other sports drinks on the market, contains NOTHING ARTIFICIAL! How awesome is that? You'll find potassium packed electrolytes, vitamins and coconut water inside BODYARMOR!

It’s a GREAT choice for young athletes especially, who don’t need all the extra sodium in their diets or the artificialingredients that come from drinking other sports drinks out there right now.

Charlie Mixed Berry BODYARMOR

BODYARMOR comes in 7 great tasting flavors: fruit punch, orange mango, strawberry banana, tropical punch, lemon lime, mixed berry and grape.

Charlie favorite was “blue”, which is the Mixed Berry. According to Charlie, it tastes “yummy” and “like blue juice”. For mom, that's good enough! If he likes it and will drink it, I'm happy. I was able to sneak a taste of his Mixed Berry. I think it's rather sweet and juice like, but I can definitely see me drinking it and will find it especially helpful in re-hydrating myself after chasing these two little boys around the park or zoo all day.

While this doesn't mean anything to Charlie, the older kids will think it's pretty cool: Many of today’s top athletes choose BODYARMOR as their sports drink of choice, including: Mike Trout, Andrew Luck, James Harden, Buster Posey, Rob Gronkowski, Kevin Love, Richard Sherman, Skylar Diggins and Sydney LeRoux.

If you're local to us in Baltimore/DC or Philly, you can find BODYARMOR at Target, Wawa, Wegmans, Royal Farms, Mars, Sunoco A Plus and Heritage's.

We have a coupon for you, too! Click here to save $1 off two bottles of BODYARMOR.

I have never heard of this brand. These sports drinks are big business, especially in professional sports. I was surprised to see some of the big name athletes you mentioned. I assumed that the NFL or MLB were in contract with a particular drink and they would not be allowe4d to publicly endorse something different. The flavors you mentioned certainly sound great.

I think I’m going to have to look into this. I usually rely on Gatorade because it works, but I don’t really like it.
