We don’t go out for a romantic dinner often these days, but I definitely still enjoy one! I’ve put together an amazing list of restaurants in Cecil County, Maryland that you can head to for a romantic dinner.

The Wellwood – Charlestown, MD
At the Historic Wellwood, you can find crabs all year long. They offer waterfront views and fireside seating!
Union Hotel – Port Deposit, MD
The Union Hotel Restaurant is a fine dining experience featuring a 1790’s atmosphere complete with candlelight, warm hearths and food service catered by servers in colonial attire. The menu is superb, offering selections ranging from 28 oz. prime rib (King Cut) dinners to filet mignon, lobster tails, unusual pasta dishes, PLUS bear steaks, froglegs and ‘gator tail (all in season).

There’s a classy and romantic restaurant that just opened in Chesapeake City! Just minutes from the water and convenient to the town’s little Boutiques and shops.
I was recommended the Shrimp and Scallop Pappardelle. It’s a house made pasta dish, with shrimp and scallops, sun dried tomatoes, roasted garlic, and fresh oregano. All tossed in a house made Brandy blush sauce and topped with Locatelli cheese.
Port House Grill – North East, MD
Port House Grill specializes in preparing food using the best, fresh, local ingredients they can find. Their specialties include an all lump, no filler, gluten free Crab Cake and a melt in your mouth Filet Mignon Sandwich.
Baker’s – Elkton, MD

If you’re a sushi fan, head to Johnny’s Sushi House for quality rolls with exceptional ratings. Personally, I’m a fan of the Teriyaki Chicken and Shrimp.
