We took a trip to Ireland last year, but it was just us. We knew immediately the kids would love it, so this time we brought the kids to Ireland! Day 1 We left the house Monday, August 14th about noon and arrived at Newark International Airport at about 2:30, breezed through security, and sat […]

Banana Splits are one of my favorite desserts when that ice cream truck rolls through the neighborhood. I have to admit though, I’d be happy if they just gave me strawberry, chocolate, banana and whipped topping. You can keep your cherries and the pineapple topping.
This week we snagged a 6Â count of the Strawberry SUPER Snack Pack Juicy Gels. I thought they’d be perfect to do a twist on a banana split. At my Walmart, they’re right in the same aisle with the ice cream toppings! Match made in heaven, right? Right! So I threw a container of chocolate pieces in the cart, grabbed bananas from the produce section and a can of Reddi-Wip from the dairy cooler.
This is one of the easiest desserts you’ll find. It’s perfect for those days you want something sweet, yummy and not completely awful for you!
- 2 Strawberry SUPER Snack Pack Juicy Gels
- 1 banana, sliced into wheels
- chocolate sprinkles or mini chocolate chips
- Reddi-Wip
- Scoop out about half of the Juicy Gel and place in a bowl.
- Place 3 banana slices in Snack Pack cup.
- Add a few sprinkles.
- Top with a small amount Reddi-Wip.
- Add other half of Juicy Gel back to Snack Pack cup.
- Place 3 more banana slices on juicy gel.
- Top with Reddi-Wip.
- Finish off with chocolate sprinkles.

Luckily, they only take a couple of minutes to throw together because the boys are not willing to wait for anything!
When we were at Walmart, we also found some new snack bars, Snack Pack Pudding Bars! They were located right above all the pudding and fruit gelatin. While I thought it was an odd place for them to be, I’m glad they were or I wouldn’t have found them. Chocolate and caramel? Yes, please!
These will be perfect for snacking while we’re on-the-go or even for our snack nights at baseball. The boys (and mommy) approve! You can grab a coupon (expires 7/19) for the Snack Pack Pudding Bars so you can try them out for even less!
Back to the Juicy Gels Banana Split!
How cute would these be set-up for a party? You could even do a “make your own” station and include the other typical banana split toppings and let everyone create their own. Make it a little easier on your wallet by printing this coupon for the Snack Pack Juicy Gels.
