Have you seen previews for The Good Dinosaur yet? If you haven’t, there’s a preview below to get you excited about the new Disney movie that hits theaters Thanksgiving!
Charlie will be in Kentucky this year for Thanksgiving with my mom and my grandparents. I think this might make for a special night for them after all the turkey has been gobbled down and everyone’s had enough socializing for the night.
Disney has given us 5 coloring pages to share with you! This is just one of them! Charlie has gotten really good at coloring lately. Even though Owen doesn’t color too well, he enjoys scribbling on the pages, just like big brother!
And if you have older ones, download these memory cards! We love playing Memory and being able to tie it in with such a cute new movie, makes it extra fun!
“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.
For a little extra fun with our coloring sheets and memory game, we made some super easy dinosaur footprint cookies! I used a simple bag of sugar cookie mix, baked them up and put a toy dinosaur’s foot in the cookie as soon as they came out of the oven.
After we stamped them (or I guess you could say stomped them), I sprinkled a little cinnamon and sugar on top. They’re far from perfect imprints of dinosaur feet, but they are fun!
