I have partnered with Hormel Foods as part of their Extended Family Blogger Program. While Hormel Foods provides me with material and yummy food, all opinions are my own. Affiliate links are included.

In this month's Hormel package, we received Skippy Natural Peanut Butter with Dark Chocolate spread. Charlie wanted to open it and eat it for lunch as soon as he saw it. This kid eats a peanut butter wrap almost every day. It's all about picking your battles.

I wanted to do something fun with this new peanut butter spread, so I made a Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Sauce with it that's perfect for ice cream, pancakes, waffles, brownies and probably a thousand other things.

This Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Sauce is perfect for ice cream, waffles, pancakes, brownies and so much more!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup Skippy Natural Peanut Butter with Dark Chocolate

Directions:

  1. Mix sugar and water in a small saucepan.
  2. Heat until mixture boils.
  3. Boil and stir constantly for one minute.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter with dark chocolate.
  5. Whip until creamy or put into blender.
  6. Allow to cool then store in refrigerator.

Honestly, it’s vanilla. But I also love anything with chunks of chocolate or cookie dough or anything else in it. So that’s a contradiction!

    This sauce looks gooooood.
