We took a trip to Ireland last year, but it was just us. We knew immediately the kids would love it, so this time we brought the kids to Ireland! Day 1 We left the house Monday, August 14th about noon and arrived at Newark International Airport at about 2:30, breezed through security, and sat […]

It’s the end of September and we’re now a few weeks into soccer season. When signing the boys up this year, I contemplated moving Owen up to the U7 team that Charlie is on even though he’s not quite 4 yet. Honestly, it would make my life a thousand times easier on those busy Saturday mornings. I did the right thing by my boys and kept Owen on the U5 team, where he will fit in more and be coached on the level he is actually on.
What this means for my Saturdays is that I’m pretty much busy from 8am until 3pm. Sometimes the boys have back to back games and sometimes there are a few hours between the games. We live about 15 minutes away from the field, which isn’t too bad, but running back and forth between the games is less than ideal.
Oh, and did I mention Charlie has practices on Tuesday nights?
While my boys are not picky, they do have favorites!
One thing that always assures they’re both members of the Clean Plate Club is pizza! In our house, the frozen pizza of choice is Red Baron® Brick Oven Cheese Trio pizza. Red Baron® Brick Oven pizzas have a unique crispy, bubbly golden brown crust that’s topped with premium cheese, robust sauce and hearty toppings. I always pick a few up at Target to stash away for a busy night when I just need a win.
We’ve stopped at the store, last-minute, when we forgot it was our week for snacks. I’ve been the mom whose kid is the only one without a long-sleeve shirt because I forgot it was cold now. I’ve been the mom whose kid refuses to stay on the soccer field and the mom who has the kid that refuses to get off the field.
As moms, we’re all just trying to keep it together and do what’s best for our families.
All moms need a #WingMama. A #WingMama is a smart, relatable and busy mom who finds humor in the many hectic moments of motherhood. Let’s face it: every single day as a mom is packed full of them.
The Red Baron® Baroness is the ultimate #WingMama. Pizza enthusiast. Slayer of tantrums.
Her toughest challenge? Mealtime. How does she prepare a hot meal for picky eaters and still have time to enjoy it? Easy. Red Baron® Pizza can quickly help get dinner on & off her plate, turning mealtime into family time. She’ll tell you, after a long day of being a mama, nothing beats a great slice of pizza and a ‘glass half-full’ of wine.

The Baroness has a signature look, including a bomber jacket adorned with different patches she has earned throughout the years as a mom. Each patch represents different experiences, roles and battles moms typically face every day.
See that “Good Enough” patch up there? I’ve earned that one many a time during our soccer experience thus far. Matching socks is totally overrated and I’ve found myself saying, “Good Enough” to the fact that we found two socks for each kid. Maybe they don’t fit quite right, but you know what? They’re “Good Enough”!
Scrubbing those stains on the soccer uniforms? I have definitely called it “good enough” on those too.

I’m always trying out new sides to go with our favorite pizza. Something new we tried this week was this super easy Creamy Italian Zucchini Noodles dish. It’s the perfect amount of cheesy goodness and there’s no real noodles involved, just zucchini!
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1½ tsp garlic, minced
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 3 Tbsp milk
- ⅓ cup Italian blend shredded cheese
- 4 or 5 medium zucchini, spiralized
- salt & pepper to taste
- Melt butter in a large pan over medium low heat.
- Add minced garlic and allow to cook together 1-2 minutes.
- Add cream cheese and milk.
- Stir melted cream cheese to form a simple sauce.
- Add zucchini noodles to pan and toss to coat.
- Stir in Italian cheeses and cook about 5 minutes, until noodles are fork tender and cheese has melted.
- Serve hot.

I’d love to hear some of your favorite side dishes that are perfect for a busy night and complement Red Baron® pizza!
